Are the hairdryers on RC Cruises, very powerful, do I need to take my own?

They are OK, but are usually permantly wired in (so you can't choose where to use it) and the light by the dressing table isn't brilliant. She prefers to take her own as she is 'used' to it. Although there are both 110V and 220V outlets, the 220V still requires an adapter for your 3 pin plug. Get a multi country adapter and you should be OK. The 110v socket takes pins, the 220V takes blades (or it could be the other way round!!). Although you can't use the 110V for your hairdryer ('cos it won't get hot or go fast) you can use it for charging cameras, iPods and phones etc.
As it was possible that Mr & Mrs Sdddsddean might have stayed in a higher class of accommodation than you, Smurfchops, or that facilities might vary between ships, I thought that I'd check out what the RC website says.
