some advice plz on were me and the wife can celerate our 50th birthdays in ireland,we have never been so advice on travel from the north east of england would be helpful too ta.

I'd avoid Dublin.

I'd go west to Mayo/Sligo Or south to Kerry/Cork because they have airports.

Cork/Kerry has stunning scenery.

if you want to fly from a local airport there's not much choice - to dublin from newcastle or leeds with ryanair, and that's it.
