been watching Mr Mckenna on Sky one, and his new eating plan.

Has anyone done the

'Eat what you like but stop when full' thing for any length of time, and how successful have you been?

So strange that you've just posted this...I have just completed his 'Change Your Life in Seven Days' plan which involves reading a book, practising excercises, and listening to a mind controlling CD twice a day...I can actually feel a difference, I feel more positive, confident, and motivated. If you go onto www.amazon.co.uk you can type in the name of the book and read reviews on the book you wish to try. You need to stay positive, and believe it to work - good luck X
I saw this programme last week, and even though i'm not into dieting, I must say, I was impressed, and he seemed to be talking common sense.
He is absolutely right. I have been listening to my body rather than eating for the sake of it/when tired/emotional/happy/bored and it DOES work. I feel that food is no longer an issue. Having said that, I still try to eat carefully- portion control and 3 meals a day and no snacking.
I've also tried to be more aware of what I am eating since watching the programme. The problem is when you are eating with other people. At lunch today I was trying to give the meal my full attention, and realised that I wasn't listening to what the others were saying and let's face it, part of the fun of eating with friends is a bit of gossip.
