Is It Possible ...

To get chicken pox twice in three weeks? Thing 1 came down with chicken pox on 11 March, then I got it (really mild case) and then boy #2 and thing 1 got it at the beginning of this week. I have been fine since last Sunday but have felt unbelievably tired for the last two days also achey, sneezing, vile headache and fluey. Today I have started to come out in itchy spots (no heads yet). Any ideas? Thanks.

passage thro a human host (that would be you)
intensifies the virulence of a virus
and is due apparently to the fact that you and Thing share transplantation antigens. - there's an Easter thought for you !
the mild case doesnt really sound like Chickenpox
it is much like the second dose - Chickenpox in adults makes them feel vile for weeks
go to bed and make your family wait on you as the princess-of-the-realm you really are.

Awww you poor thing, you're having a rough time of it, no wonder you've felt exhausted.
I had the can you get chickenpox more than once saga a few weeks ago when they thought I had it - I had it badly as a child but in the few days it took them to do the tests to see if I was resistant I was kept in hospital on an antiviral drip just in case (dangerous with the immune suppressing drugs I'm on).
My GP said medically you aren't supposed to get it more than once but they come across quite a few patients who say they have - I even had medical students come to look at me as apparently chickenpox diagnosis isn't always as straightforward as it may seem.
Not sure what it was, my body just having a laugh probably, I think it just gets bored! ;)
Take it easy and rest up as much as you can, could be a viral rash or something
