I'm just getting ready to go back to the UK after spending 18 months in NZ on an extended working visa. I'm seriously thinking about my next travel *project* being Canada once I've saved some cash in the next 12 months or so....I really want to become fluent in French, plus work in radio training there (would look at lecturing / consultancy / community radio management) to further my international radio work portfolio. I have a Master of Education degree, lots of work experience, am highly skilled.....as I'm 29, would it be more advisable to go down the working holiday route, or go for a temporary work visa with a job offer from a Canadian employer, or go for a study visa while I study French yet have the ability to freelance teach to earn money? (I could perhaps teach English to foreign language students, plus basic skills too....) I don't mind which way really, I'm open to any suggestions (the path of least resistance perhaps!) but I've looked at the cic website and I'm a little overwhelmed by the options, and wonder if anyone in a similar position has any advice? Looking at media websites in Canada it appears skills are required but they're not on the official skill shortage list.....anyway I'm just at the start of my research into it all and any advice to help it along would be most appreciated! Thank you!

Wonder why anyone didn't answer this yet? Anyway, just do what you think is the right thing to do. I can see that you've got a lot of fighting spirit to turn obstacles to blessing so I think it won't be hard for you to reach your goal in going to Canada or any other place you fancy.
