I woke up as i have many times with a hangover and thought "Okay i don't feel too bad, i can definitely do stuff today" and after breakfast i started to feel really bleughh so my question is why do you wake up feeling like supergirl but then start feeling progressively worse when it should be the other way around as the more time that's elapsed should surely mean more alcohol has been processed or is it to do with me being up and moving moving the poisoned blood around faster and me feeling like this?
My favourite hangover cure is lucozade. The original stuff, not low sugar, not orange flavoured. Tastes absolutely vile but it's full of about 10 different forms of sugar and definitely works for me. If you ever see me drinking it you know I'm in a bad way lol
Lyndab what in the lucozade helps? If it's the glucose then i have some glucose powder in my kitchen cupboard but i have nothing to mix it with and if i mix it with water it will just be like super sweet water which i can't imagine it staying in my stomach for long in fact i can imagine redecorating the ceiling with it!
That's what i was thinking. AHA! I just remembered i have bovril in the cupboard!
That sounds disgusting now! Isn't it amazing how your brain works when it's hungover. One second you think you have the best idea in the world and then you remember you're not exactly a fan of the thing you thought wast the best idea in the world and now i'm on the fence with bovril.
Should i risk it, make a cup and chug it down and see what happens? I really need some kind of nutrients in my system!
An angel has flown into my house in the form of a litre of beetroot juice which i'd forgotten about! It's chilling nicely in my freezer so the nutrient train is on it's way and what's more is i've just found some marinated beef ribs hidden under some multigrain wraps in my bottom fridge shelf so this should make a great and not too heavy snack to carress me back into the real world, lol.
