It's cold of course, and we're all prob using our central heating a bit more, but was surprised when I had my last oil delivery..I jokingly said to the deliv man that I seemed to be getting thro it at a rate of knots...he said that, since the lead was taken out of it it now burnt faster! Is this true, and altho we all like to be as 'green' as we can are we actually paying more for less?

I don't know anything about that, but it would be interesting to know when the lead was taken out of it. We've had two deliveries in two months. I thought we were just using more because of the cold weather.

Ah...so I'm not alone! Anyone know where we can find out? Perhaps I'll make more enq's with my oil supplier.

We seem to be using more too. Spent over a grand since last November.
