I started watching the new series and a new Young actor is playing him?

They replaced the original Alex, as he wanted to do movies etc. I dont personally like the new alex. There is a board discussingit on www.imbd.com < Search ER> Then look for the original alex

yeh they replaced him. pity cuz i thought the first alex was a really good actor

Yeah, i agreee, the actor that plays Alex now is awful, imho!
He looks far too nervous on screen, and the boy that played him before was a very confident actor. Too much of a difference!
