This sounded so idiotic that I was convinced it was an April Fool until I Googled it and found that Austrian Muslims have been protesting since January.

That is completely barmy. The film has been out for over 30 years yet they have only just decided it looks like the Istanbul mosque (which it doesn't).

I can only assume Lego planned to discontinue this toy anyway.
