Can anyone tell me why Holly Willoughby's roots are forever dark? Is it a young fashion? And isn't it difficult to keep the same length of dark hair at around a centimetre? I like her, but the dark roots spoil her look, I think.

It is the fashion, look at all blondes you'll find 90% of 'em have dark roots.

It's also very difficult if you are *that* blonde to have no root showing. You'd have to get it topped up every week!

Mercedita, I have often wondered the same thing. To me it looks unkempt. I love Holly but not those roots.

I like dark roots with blonde hair (to an extent)

My hair looks horrible with my roots coming in though. Dark purple/red with blondie brown roots. Not a good look.... :|

Thank you everyone & a special thank you to you, Flump! I agree, it looks unkempt, lazy even, spoiling her look. She always dresses so beautifully, it seems a shame when she bends down & there are the dark rows. I wonder if she'd ever be brave enough to go back to dark brown now! I think not! :-)

Only 1.8% of the population are naturally blonde. The other 98.2% should take care of their roots, if they are attempting to look natural blonde.

You'd never see Gwen Stefani with dark roots! She keeps her hair looking so immaculate.

Didn't watch This Morning as I was working but it was on and I noticed Holly had a tan, so maybe that made her hair look lighter and the roots worse?! I always think she has bad roots and should change her shade.

That's an old photo Eve... Can't remember the last time she had a fringe like that! Lol!
