Anyone still keeping up with it?

Lasts nights was pretty emotional. I think it was obvious Jacks crime was going to be something far more innocent than everyone speculated but I wonder if he killed himself through grief/fear or because he knew more about Dannys death. I think the former. It's nearing the end now so they'll be starting to narrow down the suspects.

Or if he was murdered. Why hadn't I thought of that until now. Oh balls.
I guessed last week it would be a consensual relationship with a young girl. It was a plot device that didn't work for me because he would have been desperate to prove his heterosexuality, and the police would have found out details on the crime anyway.

I'm not sure why some people are raving about this programme. It seems pretty run of the mill to me.
im not looking at the q.a, i missed it last night, is it repeated ?
I'm not raving over it either, I've only watched it with one eye but find it straggly and confusing and not really bothered who did it. The only bit that is slightly interesting is Pauline Quirke's character.

Anne, it's probably on ITV player.

The story does seem badly plotted to me. For example the police seemed to wait for Jack to tell them what happened. Can't say I know much about criminal stuff but if he'd been locked up for something then surely they would be able to access records of his crime very quickly.

I'm sort of sucked in now so will stick with it as I want to find out who did it and why but there's so many different plot lines it does get a bit confusing.
I keep watching but my mind does trail off. Yes Pauline Quirk is good at being evil. I assumed that the old man killed himself over his grief for his son, having read the headlines again and it all coming back to him. I cannot understand much of what David Tennant says. Is it all going to be a damp squib at the end?
Thank goodness, neti, I thought my hearing was going!
I can't always catch David Tennant's speech.

I like it because it's filmed at West Bay, not that far from here :-)
i keep watching it because its filmed in clevedon and i keep seeing places i know really well
Where are you yoga? It's not far from me either (although only the beach scenes are Dorset).
it made me laugh a couple of times last night - when he asked that woman for sex and she turned him down, and when the soco officer asked the woman out and she told DT
Hi Prudie

Actually in East Devon (Seaton). Yes just the beach scenes.
Where are you?
Just outside Dorchester, I've never actually been to West Bay!
Not complusory Prudie, nice Bay though!
I found it very emotional, specially when the mother was holding Danny's hospital name-band.
i did watch it and thought that Jack might well kill himself, or someone got to him, as to who killed Danny, well put the truly creepy performance by Pauline Quirke as that awful woman in the frame, when she said to that woman she could have men rape her, i confess i felt like turning it off.
The other boy's involved somehow, a game that went wrong?
