Which Blade For Pasrty?
6 Answers
I am new to the food processor world and due to disability I can no longer make pastry by hand.I don't know which blade to use because I always used to use a knife to cut the fat into the flour then my hands,so do I use the sharp cutting blade,or the less aggressive plastic blade?Or something completely different!
I only have a basic processor,so I think they are my only choices.
Any advice would be brilliant,thanks

I went ahead and used the plastic blade-well I have just finished getting the flour out of all the kitchens nooks and crannies.
Maybe I will try again, but my illusions of the world of food processors are well and truly broken!
I had been pestering OH to get me one for years, now I am forced to use one it is a strange world I have been thrust into.
All I can say is when St Delia used hers on TV,flour never went everywhere and HER pastry was a nice clean ball in her bowl.
It tasted OK though, and that's the main thing ;)
