My husband has just had an ingrowing toenail removed and the podietrist says to soak his foot in salt water every other day to aid healing. She didn't say for how long, what would be a good length of time?

\\\\to soak his foot in salt water every other day to aid healing.\\\

Continue until the nail bed base appears normal.....which should take between 10-14 days.

Another technique is to soak the foot for about 15mins twice daily until the nail bed appears pink and healthy.

Take your pick.
