You can skip questions that are too advanced and it will calculate a percentage and work out what level you are. beginner, intermediate or advanced
good luck
I don't know about you but Recruitement agencies tend to breath down your necks to get you placed, if they can't place you the first time then you tend not to hear from them again! they are targeted to get placements, they are looking for the best of the best so they don't get their commison clawed back! for myself, I am hard working, loyal, detemined etc, but with no Degrees, O, A levels etc, but stacks of common sense, most companys want the best of the best without taking a risk, just take a look at the jobs out there, 1000's not filled because we don't fit there 'criteria' if only they took a chance on some of us pehaps they would get a better deal.
I don't think much of agencies either, in my experience some of these agents at agencies tend to be quite lazy in getting in touch with you and are quite hard to get hold of for a particular vacancy you have seen. My advice is not too expect too much from them and avoid the private/local ones.
As for the tests, its usually data entry and copy typing when it comes to office work. Problem is, they are always times to about 5 mins and assess you on both accuracy and speed. Maybe practicing on your home PC maybe helpful I suppose.
I am in the exactly the same position as you, infact I have an appointment with an agency next week aswell and so will be doing these tests. I think personally the best source for employment are the local paper and the web (including emplymentservice.gov.uk)
Good luck :)
