Was not Britain considered to be a superpower threat by the U.S
And wasnt there a invasion plan against Canada on the cards. as a start.
Canada was part of the British Empire in 1914. Many Canadians were killed fighting for the Allies in the early battles and particularly Neuve Chapelle, the Second Battle of Ypres and in 1916 the Battle of the Somme
