Alternative To Soluto
Two or three years ago I used Soluto to identify those programs, invoked at start-up, which slowed my boot time. Soluto also indicated which of the start up items could safely be disabled and which should stay "live".
I have just tried to download Soluto again and I notice that the interface has changed and it now requires me to register using Facebook - which I do not have.
I am also wary that if I do download it now I shall inadvertently also download a lot of unwanted "adware" or dodgy toolbars that are as difficult to get rid of as an Aldershot seaon ticket.
Can anyone recommend a program similar to Soluto that I can safely use?
Thanks

WHen you get to the sign up screen, underneath the various signup options, is a "skip" option, so you don't actually need to sign up.
