If the 2 men that have been charged with the murder and robbery of London lawyer Tom Pryce were given the death penalty ( wishful thinking ) could you carry it out ?

I am a beliver in the death penalty but dont know if I could could be the one to carry out the execution. Recently the govt. in zimbabwe advertised for a hangman as they previous one had retired. There werent any takers from zim but there were applications from all over the world. I dont know who was given the job.

I never belived in having guns either but some months back I was under threat in my home and now I have a gun and wouldnt think twice about shooting an intruder. So maybe if the crime was heinous enough I could carry out an execution also.

To the pro -Capital Punishment lobby who answer "Yes" to the question please consider this:-

Two men are convicted of murder. Society (in the guise of the legal system) says:-

"You have committed the ultimate crime - you have killed another human being. Nobody should ever take another persons life. Your crime is so unforgivable, so heinous that we are going to punish you by killing you"

Logical? I think not.

I have said this before. They should be released on an island a few days before armed bounty hunters (the type who pay to kill lions in South Africa) are let loose. The whole Island should be rigged with cameras and those who want to view the spectacle could pay per view. What a show that will be. The viewing figures should tell the govt and all liberal hearts what exactly the people of this country and the rest of the world will pay to watch.
No, and I agree with Noxlumos.
Ah yes King Konk - but us Yes people are not that stupid or illogical - for we know that there is a huge difference between taking the life of someone who is a murderer and taking the life of an innocent person. Very logical I think !!!!!
KingKonK, please consider this, two men kill your nearest and dearest, in the most horrible of circumstances, in todays Britain, they would only serve a maximum of about 30 years, less with good behaviour, then they are out on the streets, to kill, rob, rape, if they want to.
