I'm looking for a food or drink that has natural anti-inflammatory elements? Some kind of tea or fruit or vegetable?

I'm currently taking anti-inflammatories for a foot injury but I'm moving to Germany soon and it might be awhile before I get some new medication, hence I would prefer the natural remedy! :)

This may be of use! Try the honey with cider vinegar and water. And turmeric is supposed to be good for inflammation too!
Hi! I am a registered dietitian. You can learn about my background at www.healthypeople.com.
Cherry powder is a powerful anti-inflammatory and contains COX-2 inhibitors like those found in Vioxx and Celebrex. Cherries also contain melatonin, a powerful anti-oxidant and sleep aid.
You can buy cherry powder by the pound and keep it in the "crisper" section of your fridge. In fact a friend of mine, Barry Schneider, grows and manufacturers a variety of fruit powders, including blueberry, cherry, cranberry, etc. His cell phone number in the United States is 216-496-2470 or 716-735-7722, for his plant in Up-state New York. I am not sure how much he charges for a pound. Maybe 30.00 plus postage, but don't quote me.
For a cold beverage, add the cherry powder to a large glass container filled with filtered water. You can also do a combo, like cranberry (unsweetened) plus cherry powder.
For a hot cup of tea, add one teaspoon, or to your taste of cherry powder.
You can sweeten with stevia leaf, if you feel the need for a sweeter beverage.
