Words In Red

Why are there loads and loads of words coming up in red and when you accidentally click onto them they are advertisements - as if we don't have enough advertisements other ways. They are very distracting.

I posted this the other day too - I am getting them on every body's post. and my own. Unbelievable - could the Ed tell me why I am getting them only.

you have a virus on your computer, or have downloaded some sort of programme. It's nothing to do with this site

this is buenchico's answer to someone else who was having the same prob"If you'd actually like a solution to your problem after all of the random stuff above, download and install the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
(NB: When installing it, ensure that you de-select the ticked box offering you a trial of the 'PRO' version).

Run a scan with that program and get rid of anything suspicious which appears. That should fix the problem but, if not, reboot your computer into Safe Mode (by pressing F8 during the boot-up process) and run the scan again.

Then remember to post questions about computers in 'Technology', rather than in Chatterbank, so that they get seen quicker by people who might actually be able to answer them!"

ah bednobs you have disappointed me. too tired to start and work on anything technologically. physio bit painful - they transferred me to another guy and compared to the last guy who "owns" the practice - this guy is much better - definitely worked with the shoulder more - think shoulder will get better with this guy - he is wants me back for about another 6 sessions but I will have to do my exercises in the house whether I like it or not. bednobs maybe too much info but had to share.
