my laptop down stairs
the arrow has frozen
using w7 chrome
how can i un freeze it please

My laptop cursor arrow freezes quite often. All I do is press CTL/ALT/DEL in quick succession. After a short while the screen goes dark, then a set of options appear. I then press CANCEL and it returns to my original screen but the cursor is now OK

If nothing else works, simply remove the battery, wait a few moments, replace it, restart your laptop and cross your fingers. (It's worked many times for me!)
