Not bad that EH, whilst people are cold, hungry, can not pay their bills, hospitals / schools need money, It shows where their priority lies.

Oh, and trigger, I saw what you did there. Now stop being silly.
Have to take your word for that one TWR, I'm not having the Mirror on my Google search history (the government snoopers would choke on their muesli if that came up).
I would happily write a cheque for my share, she was a great Lady, a strong PM, and she deserves a good send off to reflect that status imo!
If you like TWR, i'll also pay your 50p's worth (guestimate) :-)
i confess i didn't have a clue what this about, until i read through the thread, and still don't.
craft's already offered to pay my share, which was nice.

Actually, I'm not bovvered by the cost, I just don't think the public should have to pay for politicians' funerals any more than for cleaning their moats.
I expect The Sun will raise the Daily Mirror 2 million, by next Monday the figure will no doubt be nearer 36 million!!

Sensationalistic pieces by typically labour backing 'news' papers
Ah....so it *could* cost *up to* £10,000,000..........

Will they be emptying 10,000,000 £1 coins into the grave with her? Or will the money (however much it transpires to be) be paid out to workers, etc. in this country? If the latter is the case, then it's hardly been wasted, has it?
Stop stating facts!!!!!!
Exactly JTH.
TWR........It wont cost the taxpayer a penny as the finance will be raised from the bedroom tax......at least Maggie will go away smiling :-)...now thats planning!
