Unlike some people here in AB, I think the BBC is the best broadcaster in the world. The Beeb have had a very difficult job with Thatchers death. Their output has not reflected the millions of people who detested her and her politics. The BBC has chosen to err on the side of safety, which is probably all they could reasonably be expected to do.
But anybody who has watched or heard the output over the last few days may be forgiven for thinking that Mother Teresa had died again.
The passage of time will produce a more real view of Thatcher and her legacy. The historians will get it right but it won't happen overnight.
