No. Fatboy wouldn't have been able to speak like that either. But not many soap stories are realistic, wouldn't be very entertaining that way!

Agree Zac, there is no way Dot Branning would attend court in slacks and knee high boots, just so un dot like!!

I was surprised by the trousers and boots too. I suppose it was a heart-warming little scene but unrealistic.
