if anyone has access to ancestry I would appreciate it if they could help with details of a marriage between Christopher siney to freeman(don't know first name) in London, if they could give age, where born, occupation or whatever they can I would find it useful, I cant access my ancestry account so am in the process of trying to sort it out, thanx all

A Christopher Siney married a Janet G Freeman in Havering in 1971. Did you want something a bit older?

A Janet G Freeman was registered in Poplar in q3 1949 and her mum had been a Burton.

Bruce Christopher Siney was registered in 1974 - his mum was a Freeman so probably Janet,

Can't find dad Christopher Siney apart from his marrying Janet.

I'm not an expert but will continue to have a nose until Dot or Craft get here.

Christopher is born in Q2 1946 in Romford, his mother was a Meredith ...... and the only marriage of a Siney and Meredith I can find is for Q3 of 1931 - Harry Siney and Alice F Meredith in Poplar. Need to go back any further Jesmond?

thanx for that but the Christopher siney I am after would have been older and did get married in Scotland in 1921, I am looking for marriages after that time, but many thanx for your help unless you can find out anything else, like death certificate

was he born in ireland in 1898 (Tullamore) but moved to 61 Tarbrax St Carwath Lanarkshire by 1901 and in WW1 serve in the Seaforth (Royal Scots) fusileirs?

yes I think that could be him. I am trying to find out where he went from possibly the mid 1930s he was married in 1921 with x2 sons born in this marriage but nobody seems to know anything after that

I think one son was Raymond Christopher Siney born 17 Feb 1923 who died in Northumberland in Sept 1985, He married Dulcie Eke in 958 in Northumberland

yes that's him and there was another son born in scotland in 1921 now also deceased. just cant find any trace for him from the mid 30s so maybe he went abroad but had a notion he may have remarried
