has there been any recent articles, either in the papers or magazines about the sort of things parents fear for their new born children.........or just the general fears (e.g. peer pressure) that a parent may fear that their kids will have to face in the future?

Thats a question that I think is always with us, you tend to look at the world around us, and wonder if its worth it, what sort of world are we bringing our babies into. I have relations in Israel, one, some time ago, said she was not going to have any children, because if they are not killed by suicide bombers, they'll grow up, get conscripted, and probably die fighting a war, she now has two bonny babies, one boy, one girl, so whatever the outside world looks like, life goes on.
