A 7-year-old girl who is one of IndieSinger's neighbours went to show him something, saying "look at this, Indie!"

Her mother said to her, "Remember, next week when he starts teaching in your school, you'll have to call him 'Mr. Singer'".

She was confused, and asked "Why? Is he married?"

bernardo, Is IndieSinger still around? Haven't seen any posts by him at all in the last 6 months. Do I assume from your post that he is entering the teaching profession? Best of luck is all I can say.

He finished his undergraduate degree course last June (he got a 2:2), and has now started a postgraduate degree coure so that he can become a teacher. This involves various temporary teaching posts. The one I referred to was for two weeks in his local village primary school.

My father has always looked younger than he is. One day when he was about 25 and married with 3 kids he answered the door to a salesman who said 'Hello, is your dad in?' to which he replied 'no', and the salesman went away.
When asked by us why he had simply responded 'no', he gave the perfectly reasonable explanation 'well he wasn't'.
