Note the difference in reporting, The Daily Mail respectfully addressees her as
Baroness Thatcher, whereas The Guardian just as Thatcher.
20,000 according to the Daily Mail are said to have paid their respects to this lady, whereas the Guardian published a pathetic video of those 300 protesting.
/// Numbers of protesters swelled and by the time Thatcher's coffin went by at 10.45 police at the scene estimated there were about 300 protesters. ///
Wow a massive 300.

This was already discussed with the the Labour party 5 years ago, you really don't think that they could get it organised in a few days, nor determine how many people should attend or what the nature of the funeral should be, or her wishes. She had dementia for a considerable time, so i wonder exactly how she would have told DC what she wanted, or didn't want.
Why didn't they protest in their home towns then, if they couldn't get down to London.

I just did a brief survey of the membership of Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast city councils, the major cities of three of the four elements of the UK, as well as those of Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Amongst them, there are 53 Conservative/Unionist councillors from a total of 507. Manchester and Liverpool have zero and Glasgow but one!
Yeah, it really sounds as if Cameron got it rigt and there is a veritable wave of Thatcherism inundating Britain!

"Left to rest in peace", eh? Well, as an atheist, I think that is a given, once you're dead. (Having said that, I think that the phrase "rest in peace" is really an absurdity, both key words being utterly inapplicable to the deceasd. The dead are not 'resting' and the concept of 'peace' is, for them, meaningless.)
I haven't seen you around for ages, Shaney, but I'm sorry...I simply could not allow Cameron's absurd claim to pass without comment. From what you say about your views, I'm sure you too would quibble at being called a Thatcherite by the likes of him!
