Try 'the works', they have lots of reasonably priced (cheap) notecards. I buy loads of them and send them as birthday cards, they come in packs of about 10 I think, various pictures on the front and all blank inside. Usually on bogof too, so about £2 for 20.

what's penpalling (apart from the obvious, writing to penpals)? I thought it was all done on email these days.

Reasonably priced would be say Tenner tops not paying through the nose.

Never thought of that Woofgang, however I don't have much time to make my own with all the other things I do.

LOL boxy - I do have the odd epal but I have about 6 or 7 friends that I write to regularly. Its nice getting something through the post that isn't a bill or something bad
