Recently discovered the Jeremy Kyle show on television and I must admit that I have become addicted to watching it every morning. Any one else watch it or do you think I must be mad? I am just fascinated by the people on the show and can't believe they are for real.
I always watch it on the rare times I have a weekday off work, It's the 'DNA results show' that hook me in. It's certainly a programme that you are supposed to be ashamed of admitting you watch.
Agree Prudie. i watch while eating breckie in the morning.
Some of these programmes are quite touching, but cringe at the rest of them.
I do also cringe at the toothless young ones . lol
Like you Leah, I said on here that they couldn't be real people, and that I had never met anybody like them and I was told to get down from my Ivory tower!!! I still think they're actors though, and no I don't watch it; it's awful.
Five minutes of watching this tripe makes me be thankful for my own education, lifestyle, decent kids and my teeth. But, wonder if I am missing out a bit as I have no tattoos and can't speak 'gangster' English, 'Know what I mean, right, innit,' also I seem to lack the aggressive body language of the participants who think that they are 'stars' when appearing on this programme displaying their dysfunctional lives.
I have it on sometimes though usually at work at that time.
I used to work right by where it was filmed (recently moved) and would see all the guests queuing up in the morning to get in. Also heard some interesting tales from taxi drivers who have driven the guests about. It's a very nice hotel they stay in.
On the US one he seems to do a lot with addicts, getting them into treatment programmes paid for by the show etc...
