Are Holby City & Casualty built in close proximity to one another? The doctors & nurses and even patients seem familiar. Do they move them about if one hospital gets busier than the other. It must be stressful for the patients.

err...they are not real...they are sets

Well thankyou very much, Joko, for shattering the illusion. I used to really enjoy watching both of those - now I won't be able to ever again... at least not without thinking "Oh, what's the point of it all... it's just not real anyway, any of it..."

Listen, one word about The Queen Vic or the Rovers, just one word, and you're toast, got that?!

I am sure they are supposed to be the same hospital only different departments, thats why they do the specials together.
With Julie on this one....Casualty is the A&E dept of Holby City General Hospital!

sorry snook, the pubs are real - and so are santa and the tooth fairy....

So, there you have it, casaespana - they are supposed to part of the same building They are built very close together - probably the same studio.

The docs and nurses and patients are very familiar aren't they - thats because they are on a contract.- and I am sure when one fictional area gets busy, because the script writers have written it that way, they do indeed move them about.

and yes it probably is stressful for the fictional patients. I woudn't worry to much though - they all go home afterwards

Thanks for all your replies. Sorry some illusions have been shattered. The truth always hurts sometimes. At least the Rovers Return & Queen Vic are real pubs.

I'm sure this question has been answered appropriately but you ask the bestest questions!! Quite amusing when you're bored at work. Cheers.
