I'm watching it but do get lost in parts. When it showed Joe coming home at the end was he really coming home or had he been killed?

I wondered if he's AWOL?

He was coming home! Quite deep in parts!!

He was coming home, but he was obviously shell shocked and not well.

He was home on leave but the look on his face was giving the impression that he had no intention of going back!

So was the man who shot the cows the person who had previously mutilated the one Joe's father is being blamed for.

I got very bored watching this (shame because I love John Simm) and deletec last nights one from my planner.

I like The Village but can't help feeling that it moves on a bit too fast at times and that chunks of it have been cut out. The doctor was very strange
and I did wonder how they got out of the bedroom when he had told the nurse to lock the door?Don't know about Joe .He must have had something wrong with him otherwise he would have walked on the grass instead of struggling through all that mud. It's a strange fascinating series.

Didn't the doctor have sex with Caro, her mother fancies him(heaven knows why!) and didn't like it when he held Caro's hand at lunch.
I wonder if The Lord of the manor had killed the first cow.

Why do they look away when the lord of the manor is about!Is it because of his scarring and he's above them in standing?

I gave up half way through episode two. And judging from the confusion that still seems to prevail I made the right decision.
