does anyone know how to easily change the ringer volume on a motorola t720i without going through the menu system? The instructions say the key on the left side of the phone will take it down from loud to silent, but it doesnt seem to

I have owned several Motorolas and the key on the LHS of the phone reduces the volume of the ring-tone but does not completely mute it.To do the latter you must enter the menu. If yours does not even alter the volume then it is faulty.
