Used to be Sainsbury's Kenya blend - leaves rather than bags - but they just kept putting up the price as the quality went down the tubes.
So I tried Aldi Gold - which is predominantly East African with a bit of Sri Lankan added - it's truly the dogs bits - never going back to Mr Sainsbury :)
Glengetti, when I can afford it, otherwise Yorkshire (when it's on offer) or any of the "main" brands.
I'll give the Aldi one a go, Sunny Dave, I find the own brands to be generally, erm, yukky.
My favourite - Taylors of Harrogate, Scottish Breakfast - not in bags but loose - (though I will go bags if necessary) properly presented. Of course it should be be served with a proper cream tea - also, cucumber sandwiches, edges of the bread and the peel cut off.
Then Assam/Orange Pekoe.
Forget the Grey or Lapsongwang - both taste like khazi water.
