heya guys, i recently upgraded my computer but in the process lost i-tunes. i now want to recharge my i-pod, but am worried if i do, it will delete all the songs currently on my i-pod. is there a way around this?

when you run iTunes again with your iPod in, it'll ask if you want to associate that iPod with that iTunes library. say NO.

download yamipod:
http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/downloads/

run that with your iPod connected, and you can copy all your music etc. from iPod onto your hard drive so that you can add it back into iTunes again.

another method is to just go into the hidden folder on your iPod, and copy the music across from there. not as nice as yamipod though :)

you'll probably want to copy to c:\documents and settings\[username]\my documets\my music\itunes\itunes music, assuming you're using windows.
