Thank you all for your best wishes. I haven't had a cold for ages. We are having curry tonight to see if that will blast it out.

It made me smile today when one of my lovely, sixteen year old students suggested I had a LemSip when I got home. Bless her. Talk about reversal of roles.

Thank you, desky. I still feel lousy but at least I'm at home coughing and spluttering instead of at work.

My husband has just gone into town to get 'something from Marks and Spencer's for tea'. He says he has it all planned out. He will do it all.
It will be interesting to see what he comes back with.
I haven't eaten a proper meal since Monday evening. I hope it's something tasty.
