Name of a film

The story line is of 2 sets of twin sisters born at the same time but they get separated at the hospital as babies . One family has 1 blonde who is very bright and 1 brunette who is a little bit slow. The other families girls are the exact opposite .

Can anyone tell me the name of the film ?

Dizzieblonde's film is'Beaches' which I think was about friends rather than sisters. Can't shed any light on the film though

Nooo - not Beaches. That was Debra Winger I think, and one of them died at the end.

It was Big Business I was thinking of - they play two sisters born at a local hospital and swapped by the nurses, then somehow bump into each other as adults at a hotel or something.

Now I think about it though, they might have been quints, with each pair having one country-type sister and one city one. Ring any bells Jules?
