hi,
i looking at redoing my louge and looking for a gas fire with suite, what should i look for when buying a gas fire as we have a back boiler?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.tnight, You will be very limited in your choice of gas fires to fit in front of the back-boiler unit. You will need to contact the boiler manufacturer, probably Baxi , ( or a Corgi registered engineer ) to find out which gas fire is compatible with the back-boiler.
An expensive alternative to the gas fires offered would be to change the system to incorporate a different type of boiler ( probably a condensing boiler ). You could then install practically any gas fire.
