Reminders

When I used my laptop I had as my screen saver a text message to remind me to enter my Daily Mail rewards numbers. Now I have an iPad I can't do that.
Does any one know of a way I can set a reminder up please.

You could write a note, photograph it and then put that as your background.

I don't have a background on an iPad.

I have a background on my ipad (it's one that came with it, not a personalised one though).

I haven't tried the calendar, how will it remind me?

Oh dear. You can set your background to anything up you want. Take a photo. Go to look at it in 'camera'. When you tap on it, there is a box at the top with an arrow coming out of it. Tap this and you can set the photo as your home screen. Sounds complicated but it's v simple.

somewhere in the settings, you should be able to set reminders and frequency. sorry ive not got an ipad so im not fam with the calendar settings

Calendar. Open it. Select a time press on it and hold. A box will appear and you can set 'repeat'.

I don't have a background on my ipad either caran, i just leave my favourites open in safari and the apps cover the following page.

Repeat in the calendar looks to be the best bet.

Woo woooo wooo!! I have done it, I didn't equate wallpaper with the screen saver. I wrote "enter rewards" on a piece of paper, photographed it and followed your instructions. I have also set up a reminder on calendar for tomorrow. I am feeling really chuffed with myself. Thank you all so much for your help.

Have you spent your points yet Caran? I waited and waited until the Morphy Richards Breadmaker came back into stock - and at last it did last week ! I spent 12600 points and received it in 2 days, what a great (but fattening!) gift ..... haven't had time to try it yet.

Ann I redeem mine every time I reach 2000, I get a £5 voucher for Morrisons.
Don't normally shop there, I'm a Lidl's girl! So I save the vouchers until I have about £20 and have a shop in Morrisons for extra things. I know I'm a real sad do!
