Gel nails -average cost?
My wife and I are attending a family wedding in a few weeks time and my wifes nails are, admittedly, bad. Her nails are cracked and have some quite severe indents and like all women she wants them to look normal (or at least acceptable). She has had acrylic nails fitted before but find them a pain in the backside in her everyday work on the checkouts. Anyway, she has asked me to ask other ladies on here what she would be expected to have to pay for gel nails? Nothing fancy just healthy looking nails. We live in a provincial town in the south of England so obviously not looking at bloated London Salon prices? Many thanks in advance.

Went and got 'perma colour' put on - it is a type of long lasting nail varnish and I was really impressed as puts a coating over the nails. Is supposed to last around 2-3 weeks but I caught a finger in a cupboard door which chipped my thum varnish so ended up kinda picking and removing the rest. You can remove yourself with acetone which you can buy in boots - not something you need to keep up. This cost £28 (well cost me nothing as was a gift). I would recommend this.
