I saw earlier on the news that another country (forgot who) had warned USA of the Boston bomber along with three others involved in plotting terrorist activity. Apparently the USA did not take heed.

Don't blame the authorities, do you know how many 'leads' they get a day?

As the IRA once famously said, "You need to be lucky every time, we only need to be lucky once".

I suspect it is still Amateurs, the type of bomb( and the consequent damage) was not the sort 'professionals' (term used loosely) would use.

society, it was Russia and the eldest brother was interviewed by the FBI but he wasn't said to be 'dangerous' at the time. They're now investigating as to what changed him.
