I've just hustled youngest Junior O out of bed and into his school uniform, only to remember school is closed today. Oops.

That's not rubbish, that's routine. I'm rubbish for setting the alarm for 4 am instead of 5 this morning, nibble got up and dressed for work then had to come back to bed.
He'll be ready when it opens again though :-)
LOL, I never thought of little O having to stand outside the school until Tuesday!
its good practice for him :-)

I thought it was odd he wasn't up as he is an early riser on school days.
Ah well, now he is up he can do something useful like go up the chimney

This post just made me check my son's holiday list, just in case he was off too, luckily school is open this morning so he won't be getting annoyed with me when he gets out of the shower :)
wait till he tells all the relatives and in time his own kids what "Grandma" did to him as a boy ! you are not a rubbish mother my dear you are just anxious that his learning is not interrupted by such a silly thing as a day off.
I actually left mine at the school, a call from the caretaker got me to return to two extremely disgruntled kids. They couldn't see the funny side at all, still don't and they are middle aged now.

You wicked woman MRS O, I hope you are ashamed of yourself!!!!!!!!!
I did the same thing many years ago (in the 1980's). Children still don't let me forget it!!

Well a world famous, international model can't be expected to remember everything
I once got up and went to school on a bank holiday monday without any urshering out the door from my mum.... she was still bleary eyed and drinking her first tea when I got home, she'd assumed I was having a lie in :-/
I've just reported you to the NSPCC,you wicked woman. My mother did it to me once,I'm sure I still bear the scars!!!!!
We did this a few weeks back. Got stepson ready for school, did his pack up, drove him to school to find school closed due to previously notified teacher training day. Of course, ex wife hadn't bothered to inform us and only she used to get the letters. Witch.
Mrs. O you remind me of my mum in so many ways. It's scarey.
