Can anyone reccommend a book that will help me with the admin of a limited company without paying an accountant the five hundred pounds i have been quoted by a charted accountant, I have always done my own tax return it aint rocket science.?

If you are dealing with the day-to-day financial admin of your company already, you are dead-right that it isn't too much of a difficult step to deal with the LtdCo accounts adequately enough for the Comapnies House and HMRC. There's an awful lot of free info on HMRC's own website - including sample accounts.

It's what I've always done.
