Ikea Gnomes

I really hate this advert - poor little gnomes - what have they done wrong? this is encouraging kids to destroy any they see! (I DO have a life! I just like gnomes although not to the extent that some have in gardens)

My son and his pals once "kidnapped" a neighbour's garden gnomes and held them to ransom. Returned when violence was threatened!

I know how you feel Mags, it's horrible, lol. I think it's going to have the opposite effect and there'll be a boost in garden gnome adoption...sorry... sales. :)

I tend to dislike any kind of wanton destruction. Never felt comfortable with it. But that said, they are garden gnomes. Surely there is a limit ?

have you seen the cinema version? It's about 2 minutes longer and reveals a deeper darker side to it all.....
