Don't know about Intense BB but Tesco used to do "sandwich" tomatoes which didn't make the bread soggy. Haven't seen the for a while though.
Thanks, tigger. I'll inspect the tomatoes next time I'm in Tesco.
We have some nice Tesco tomatoes at the moment...great on a sarnie and in a salad and lovely to slice....easily amused it would seem
is there any ice for the gin?

Will we be having Pimms if summer ever arrives?
my daughter ...... the chef

I get around soggy tomatoes in a sandwich filling by skinning them in boiling water first, then putting them in a dish with hard boiled eggs and then mashing them together with some salt and pepper then you can use them to fill sandwiches or rolls and they don't get to be soggy either

soggy sandwiches takes me back to when I was 17 and one of my jobs was to work in a caff.
(Not in job description, caff was owned by daughter of my boss, so we all got a turn, wonderful, not)
