Peaceful House!

O dear I have completely lost my voice since this afternoon, I'm down to a stage whisper! Its exhausting - OH is delighted, he says our house is so peaceful without me yattering on and on............. Strange though, as throat isn't sore or painful but I have had a cough like whooping cough :( Hope I get some sleep tonight , hardly got any at all last night with coughing so much.

Son has a really annoying, dry cough too. No other symptoms. I was wondering if his voice was breaking actually....?

Can think of some good sign language myself Gness! I tried to ring and leave a message for someone on their answerphone this afternoon, goodness only knows if they got it as I sounded so awful - OH just looked up from his book and said "You squeak when you're sqoken to!"

so sorry to hear this Ann, you have my sympathy. Go for codeine - that is the new ibuprofen!! I do hope you feel better soon.

No Mr Ann kindly passed the cough to me yesterday but he didn't lose his voice. At least I didn't get his horrible tummy bug he had last Sunday - I kept the manufacturers of Dettol wet wipes in profit last weekend and my poor house wondered what had hit it, it was wiped so much!
