All I did was buy green beans. I was berated in the checkout queue as they came from Kenya.
When I pointed out to the said woman that Cameron had travelled a 4,000 mile trip to Russia for a 30 minute meeting, she started shouting and was then removed by security. I think I'll start shopping on-line.

A mile a minute headwreck. Why weren't you in the Olympics?

I would have given her 'the look', then looked in her basket, looked her up and down and turned away (whilst swearing frantically in my head).
Exactly Headwreck. I was walking across a car park with my brother and this boy in a Vauxhall Corsa came tearing onto the car park. We were quite a way up the car park and he deliberately drove right at us to make us jump out of the way and went and parked on the MacDonalds. If it had been an elderly, disabled person or someone with a baby in a buggy they'd never have got out of the way quickly enough. My brother went over to him and I followed because I thought it might get nasty, which it did, and just then the police turned up because they'd seen it all on the CCTV. Total lunatic showing off to two girls he had with him in the car.
I would have suggested to her that she should give it a try, she might like it.
One pack of imported beans because they are not in season here is a tiny drop in the ocean. You can enter the important factors here to see what your carbon footprint is http://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx
Last time I calculated mine it nearly blew up as I had been to Mexico, Hong Kong (twice) and driven 50,000 miles that year. How I would have loved to have been in that queue. I would have put your beans in their place.
