Do you favour europeans over other cultures?
Is there a difference to you?
I must admit I find it hard to get on with some non european people, ie african/saudi they don't seem to be able to integrate, Do you agree?

It is only natural to favour your own culture, although many coloured people ARE Europeans. I don't generally have a problem with non-Caucasians except when they start to impress their oppressive culture upon us.

well it actually is harder to "get on" with people where you may have a lot of cultural differences. There will be misunderstandings and so on, but I don't think that "europeans" are amy more or less culturally like us than say "americans" or "japanese" and so on. As a female and from experience, it is hard to "get on" with males from cultures who think that females should be submissive and dependent and who maybe disapprove the way that I dress, speak and so on, but then I guess that they would have the same problem with me.
Wildwood, i think that caucasian is not what you meant as its an ancestry description...you can have europeans who are not caucasian!

I don't even think about it. I treat people on an individual basis.

I don't necessarily favour one culture over another, but yes, there is a difference to me simply because cultures are so diverse and those I am not accustomed to are alien to me. I've no doubt that works both ways.

Whenever I meet new people it never occurs to me to think ' Oh my he's from Africa or the Middle East, so I will probably not be able to get on well with him.' The main reason for this is I haven't had very many negative experiences with one ethnic group. I hate everyone equally as they say ;-)
You are always going to find it harder to understand why some cultures different to ours do certain things, and sometimes those things will seem strange and alien, because they are to us, equally they must find it very hard to integrate in some areas, but no I certainly don't favour Europeans over other cultures because I don't think it's a good method of judging who you will or won't get on with and I hate predjeudice of all sorts.

I find it hardest to get on with narrow minded people and they occur all over the place.

I treat everyone the same despite their race/creed/culture. In fact I treat them as individuals.

I've covered a few countries with markedly different views to that of the UK. I treat it as an opportunity to learn and benefit from the experience.

No, I don't find it hard. It's important to be aware of cultural differences of behaviour, and this sometimes makes for awkwardness - what is normal in one country isn't in another. If you are aware of those differences (and there are lots of books on the topic) then we get on with anyone.

No, I treat people as I meet them really.

Europeans didn't integrate very well when they first visited Africa or anywhere else, so I don't think you can limit that trait to a particular continent or racial group.
