As above, my mop smells a bit stinky.

Cleaned the lounge floor today, and now it's dried it smells a bit musty???

What's the best thing to clean it with?

Thanks.

I put my mop in a weak solution of Jeyes Fluid.

Bleach 1tsp. per bucket, soak for 10 mins and dry out. The chlorine will evaporate as it dries. Kills 99% etc.
We are great lovers of Jeyes fluid, we clean down our patio where we feed the hounds to get rid of traces of raw meat etc. it works wonders and keeps everything smelling sweet.

Mmmm, I wounder! would it sting if I used as cologne?
If using bleach, thoroughly rinse out after or it will rot your mop head. We keep a few screw on mop heads, we just chuck them in washing machine and chuck them when worn.
Ratter, no, don't! Old Spice smells better (marginally)

Just got out of the shower, went to fetch mop and it's belting down outside.
I now have a soggy mop (although it no longer smells musty!) and soggy slippers :(
