oh thanks bibblebub, that must absolutely be it. I am just annoyed I didn't think of it. I have looked through loads of lists of places and didn't even see that place. I think I have almost been there too.

there are lots of pages in WIkipedia for various places and you can find these by doing a search there for list of places in xxx e.g http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_places_in_Lincolnshire
