why are some children allergic to nuts?

This is a difficult one. All allergies are caused by an abnormal sensitivity to certain substances ( such as house dust mite) and are normally linked to one factor, often a protein. The nut allergy appears severe, and seems to be linked to a nut protein, but noone has isolated it yet.
